Rotating X-ray Anodes and Accessories

Our company is a professional manufacturer of rotary X-ray anodes including molybdenum alloys such as TZM and MHC with focal tracks based on tungsten-rhenium alloys, molybdenum-vanadium and molybdenum-niobium targets used in mammography applications and which can be optionally equipped with precious metal focal tracks, black coating tungsten targets, and TZM based tungsten-rhenium targets brazed with graphite etc. The rotary tungsten targets are used in x-ray tubes for the high-resolution devices used in general X-ray applications, mammography, angiography and computed tomography.

The rotary X-ray targets we supply can withstand extreme thermal stress in temperatures of over 2,000℃. And all of our tungsten alloy targets are of superior quality and have durable life. The anode angle is normally from 6°to 18°?. A smaller angle would make a smaller focal spot.

Tungsten Rhenium Targets:

As to tungsten rhenium targets, rhenium and tungsten are well-proportioned, which makes this model possess nicer machining property and high-temperature property. Tungsten rhenium targets containing 1-10% of rhenium can prevent crazing of the anode surface. The body of the anode is made of the materials that are light and have a good heat storage capacity, like molybdenum and graphite. Molybdenum is also often used as the surface material for the anodes used in mammography, for its characteristics: intermediate atomic number–with the produced X-rays of the energies suited for this purpose.

Black-coating Target:

Black-coating target, as a sort of new product, has a kind of black-coating on the molybdenum base and is produced by our company in recent years. This target has nicer efficiency of heat-radiation and can reduce the time of heat-sinking, which effectively prolonged its service life. We can produce, in addition, various black-coating targets to meet uses' specific demand.

Additionally, we can supply TZM stems, cathode filaments, scattered electron traps manufactured from copper and refractory metal compounds, nuts and washers made from molybdenum, TZM, tantalum and niobium and shielding components manufactured from the tungsten heavy alloys.
