Product Description

Anviloy metals containing tungsten and molybdenum are well-known to solve the problems(Insufficient thermal conductivity, High wear, Sticking of aluminum) with molds in Light Metal Die Casting. The most commonly used, high-tech, tungsten materials in the Die Casting Industry are Anviloy1150, Anviloy1350 and Anviloy Weld Rod. The use of Anviloy tungsten alloys during the foundry process can both improve quality and lower costs.

The ANVILOY series is the specify promotional materials by North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) whose essence is the tungsten alloy.

Anviloy  vs. Tool Steel 1.2343

·~ 4 times higher Thermal Conductivity

·~ 5 times better Heat Crack Resistent

·~ 2 times lower Soldering Tendency

The characteristics and benefits of Anviloy

·High resistance against dilution Reduces corrosion and erosion

·High hardness and strength at high temperature can Improves stability of dimensions and Increases form stability

·Good thermal conductivity and tempering resistance can Removes heat quickly and Reduces soldering and heat cracks

·Easy to machine and can be machined to any forms you need.

The main products:

1.Core pins and inserts

Anviloy® core pins are widely used to remove heat faster, increase the life time and reduce sticking of aluminum to the pins.
Inserts are mostly used to reduce wear of certain mold areas and remove the heat faster to improve cast quality and cut down cycle times.

2.Spreaders

Anviloy® spreaders are used in areas where liquide aluminum is poring into the mold and spreads by this cone to distribute it in the mold. It is often used in wheel die casting. Lifetime is multiple times higher compared to tool steel.

3.Anviloy® mold enhancement products

The benefits of Anviloy® mold enhancement products

    · Reduce corrosion and erosion
    · Increase form stability
    · Improve stability of dimensions
    · Remove heat quickly
    · Minimize heat checks
    · Reduce soldering
    · Minimize release angles
